Hello! I’m Lisa Raspino. Creating jewelry is my way of satisfying a deep sense of curiosity. I love looking at seemingly unrelated materials—metal sheets, wire, stones—and imagining how they might come together to form something beautiful. Sometimes, I have complete control over the process; other times, it takes unexpected turns—much like life itself.
My vision often evolves as I work, shifting in response to the challenges I encounter, and I embrace these changes. I find joy in using my imagination, creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities to bring my designs to life. Staying open to new ideas helps me grow as an artist and fuels the inspiration behind every piece of jewelry I create.
My passion for jewelry began at a young age. When I was about eight years old, I discovered a box filled with broken and tangled costume jewelry. While others saw only trash, I saw endless potential—a chance to uncover beauty within imperfection. Armed with my father's needle nose pliers and wire cutters, I set about transforming those discarded bits and pieces into something uniquely beautiful.
Over the years, both my skills and creative vision have evolved, but my appreciation for imperfection remains at the heart of my work. This philosophy shines through in my use of texture, patina, and irregularly shaped stones. Each piece I create celebrates the unexpected beauty found in the unique and unconventional.
