You're unique. Shouldn't your jewelry be, too?
The truth be told, I have a very specific woman in mind when I'm creating jewelry. Using a variety of techniques, I craft limited-edition artisan jewelry for the beautiful, confident woman who:
Does this sound like you? If so, this could be the start of a beautiful friendship.
Hello! I’m Lisa Raspino. Creating jewelry satisfies my natural curiosity. I see seemingly unrelated items -- metal sheet, wire, stones -- and wonder how I might put them together to make something beautiful. Often I’m in complete control of the process; other times, not so much. (Sounds like life, right?)
My vision may change mid-process based on the challenges I face, and that’s okay. I enjoy using my imagination, creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities. Being open to new ideas is how I grow as an artist and it's what brings my jewelry designs to life.
My love affair with jewelry started very early. When I was about 8 years old, I came across a box of broken, tangled costume jewelry. What my mother saw as trash, I saw as potential. I saw beauty in the imperfect. Using my father’s needle nose pliers and wire cutters, I transformed the broken, discarded bits and pieces into something unique and beautiful.
While my skills and creative vision have grown significantly over the years, I still see the beauty in imperfection. This theme is evident in my use of texture, patina, and irregularly shaped stones. I hope you love my designs as much as I love creating them.
Lisa
