Hello, I'm Lisa Raspino.
My love affair with jewelry began when I was quite small. I soon learned to look beyond the sparkle and began thinking, “hmmmm, this might look better if….” A ten-year-old armed with her father’s needle nose pliers and wire cutters can create some very interesting things by re-setting stones, making earrings out of bits of bracelets and fashioning just about anything into a pendant.
Of course my technique and vision have been refined over the years. I studied metalsmithing with Alan Hill, Sheila Smith, and Chris Goulet, but otherwise, I'm largely self-taught. I've been designing and creating jewelry since early 2005. Other favorite techniques include stringing beads on sturdy-yet-flexible beading wire, and using wire-wrapping techniques to embellish sterling silver chains and findings.
I'm an independent artisan which means that all of the jewelry you see on this site is personally handcrafted by me, with attention to design and function. I hope you'll love wearing/gifting my jewelry as much as I've enjoyed creating it!
